My best and most memorable dream I had in 2007!

My most memorable dream I had in 2007!
So- Is a dream a true journey?

Saying goodbye to 2007 and hello to 2008 with a memory of my best dream in 2007.

I went to bed as I usually do, I read in my book and turned the lights out with some mediation music. I was somehow still awake but ready for sleep as I imaginedmyself trying to get up a tree that I found in Kelly Howell"" Kelly Howell's, "Guided Mediation"""Guided Meditation" along while ago. I found myself there.

I started to climb up this tree and I was up it fast, but was stuck in some fog so, I decided to try to grow wings not really. I then decided to go into the tree and found that I wanted an elevator and then made one. It took me all the way up. To where ever up was. When I got to the top. The door opened and everything was black and white, maybe even blue. I saw with blurred vision an elephant. Then I looked closer and I believe it was Ganesh. I had just read about him in an article at the book store. I didn't know much about him. I said, "OK.. OH, Wow- Are you Ganesh?" I saw the elephants head move but say nothing. I asked if he was my guide. I heard nothing. I said. " Why am I seeing you? Is it because I want to see you or because I need you?" There was no answer. I decided to ask another question. I asked,"What and how will I be and look after my transformation?"

Then boom I was sent huge rays of light. They went straight up to what I felt could be the heaven. I could see color. I had real tears running down my face. I felt all this love and this power of something so powerful I could only assume it was from the Creator or a sign from the Universe. Then I saw a brief picture of me. I had some cute sandals on with a slight heal, my face seemed flawless and glowing and my hair looked great. I had the look of wisdom and contentment. I was generating such a glow. I then came back to my body and went to sleep. I awoke at 4:00 am in the morning and just tossed and turned thinking about what I saw and felt and wondering what does this mean? Was this a journey or a dream?

I now see how reading books can help shape ones mind and dreams!

Hmmmmmmmmm

What is it that I want anyway?

What is it that I want anyway?

I am 33. I feel that I am middle age and I want to experience new ideas and new ways of thinking. I choose now to believe that we live off our thoughts, we are guided by our mind. I have been reading a lot lately. I never knew how powerful books could be until now.

When I was younger I just wanted to be social and play and get attention. I wanted people to see me and to be a bright shiny star in other people's life. Well, what about my life? I was no longer filling up me. I needed more. I wanted to find out more about religion and about cultures and what secrets are truly out there. I want to live fully, to be glad to get out of bed in the morning.

I have had some set backs that I plan to write more on later. Such as a dealing with a strong willed child, losing my mom to cancer, the blessings of being a mother to a 5 and 6 year old, Why having a twin is so much fun, dealing with hair loss and the day I was told that I have female pattern baldness- diffuse hair thinning at 33 and it gets worse as you age - oh yeah. BTW:(This is a great story - can't wait to vent about this one). Talk about shitty news. Geez!

So, my friends I have tons to let out - so stay tuned. In the mean while here is my book list. It is a good place to start to expand your mind. I also listen to, "Kelly Howell" and I love her audio mediation music and podcasts - sure is helping me change my fears of losing my hair and other middle age issues. www.kellyhowell.com

Earl Nightingale - The Strangest Secret

My first post. I am so excited. I am not the best writer but I do have a lot of passion. I mean a lot of things to talk about. How personal should I get?

Well to start. I want to share a quote from Earl Nightingale's - Strangest Secret.

Well it is something like this " We came from somewhere and we are going somewhere - so we should make the best of our life now."

I like that. Don't you?
